During the 23 – 25 October 2019 the Eurotowns General Assembly took place in Sindelfingen. In the framework of the GA as kick-off event an Eurotowns City Slam was held. A City Slam is a new format of scientific lecture, competitive character and entertainment elements in the field of the future of urban development. Experts presented different topics such as digitalization, climate protection, mobility, social innovation and urban planning to the audience within a given time. At the end the evaluation was carried out by the audience. A special thanks goes to all speakers for the inspiring presentations and Rainer Holl for the perfect moderation. We would like also thank the audience for the positive feedback afterwards. It was a fantastic start for our GA.
