Workshop on Challenges of Cohesion Policy within the new MFF during EWRC 2018 in Brussels
As President of Eurotowns Christian Gangl took part at the workshop Challenges of Cohesion Policy within the new MFF during the European Week of Cities and Regions in Brussels in order to share the view of medium-sized cities. Panellists discussed the role of local & regional authorities, social partners and business actors for the next MFF. Christian Gangl stressed the fact that the urban dimension shall be further strengthened and that local authorities shall be meaningfully involved in the negotiation process about the future Cohesion Policy. Medium-sized cities represent a significant part of the EU urban fabric and shal l play an active role in shaping the future of Europe.
